It was founded in the year 1996 by Sridhar Vembu, the CEO of the company and has its headquarters in California, USA.

Zoho Eligibility Criteria

Zoho does not have any specific eligibility criteria to apply for Zoho off-campus drive. Candidates should have any degree (BE, B.TECH or Post Graduate degree). The candidates can have backlogs. So, if you are aspiring to get placed in Zoho, grab the opportunity and you need not worry about the CGPA/ percentage. The selection process of Zoho for the role of Software Engineer usually consists of 5 rounds as:

Zoho Test Pattern 2018 - Written Test

The questions asked in this round are not MCQs. Only the questions will be given and the candidates have to answer them. In this round, Zoho conducts either a complete c programming test or a full aptitude test or a mixture of both. So, it is better to be prepared in both the domains. The first round is divided into two parts.

Aptitude:

In aptitude, 25 questions that test the candidates’ knowledge of the basics will be asked.  The candidate has to answer them within the time limit of 1 hour 30 minutes.  The questions will be asked from the basic concepts such as averages, time and distance, probability and some few puzzles etc.

Technical:

In technical, output questions or objective type questions from C language are asked. This round consists of 10 questions and has to be completed within the time limit of 60 minutes. To crack this round, one should be strong in their programming language basics.

Zoho Test Pattern 2018 - Coding Test

In the coding round, there will be 5 questions and the candidate have to write codes for all the programs within the time limit of 3 hours. So for this round, one has to be strong in programming. The candidates are allowed to program in C++ or Java. They will be provided with a Laptop and a Turbo C compiler for this round.

Zoho checks the logic even if the candidates are not able to bring the output for the following program. So, being thorough with the basic concepts writing the syntaxes properly will help in clearing the round. If a candidate completes 4 questions out of 5, he/ she have a sure shot chance of qualifying for the next round.

The Zoho Test Pattern of Coding Test is given below:

Zoho Test Pattern 2018 - Advanced Coding Test

In this round, the candidate will be provided with one programming question which has to be completed within the time limit of 3 hours. Basically, the question will be asked from data structures or oops concept. For example, the candidate has to write the code for booking a cab or train ticket reservation. There are no inbuilt collections allowed. You have to implement the code on your own and can program in any programming language. So he/she has to be strong in basic concepts and also should have the capacity to think logically. Only then he/ she can solve the problem and produce the output.

The examiner generally checks the logic rather than the syntax or output. So, giving a brief explanation of the logic used is necessary.

Zoho Test Pattern 2018 - Technical and HR Interview

In this round, the questions from Sorting, Hashing, JVM, OS, DBMS, and OOPS will be asked. The interviewer will also pose questions based on your project and whatever you have mentioned in the resume. So it is necessary to be confident while answering the questions.
